Market Norms Redefined After Incorporation of Medical Billing in EMR

In the competitive health care industry, EMR vendors are incorporating extra services like medical billing in order gain the competitive advantage. If these players don’t come up with new innovative ideas, they end up losing revenue and hence, market share. Recently, most vendors get the latest certifications and standards to alleviate their brand in the eyes of the customers. However, this alone is not adequate criteria when making a decision. As it is an IT solution, factors like compatibility issues and user friendliness should be kept in mind when combining services like EMR and Medical Billing.

Top vendors always stay on their toes and keep trying hard to deliver solution that understands all the possible problems of a Physician. For this reason, EMR vendors are endeavoring to deliver all-in-one solution with integration of services like medical billing. This software brings together all the solutions under one platform, which is easier to use and makes lives of the physicians’ easier.

“It just makes sense from a personnel and software perspective to have data pass seamlessly from our Electronic Medical Record software directly into billing software. We now have a system that allows for full data integration for physicians using third party EMR software and PGMs practice management system.” says PGM Billing’s Chris Saviano.

For example, software are being designed that support electronic documentation, connection with patients at all times, Medical Billing Service, and Practice Management. Electronic documentation helps physicians to store patient data online and this makes their practice paperless. Patient Portals allow physicians to say connected with patients at all times by retrieving their information from anywhere. Medical Billing boosts up the revenues and optimum level of profits can be achieved in no time. Practice Management streamlines operations and provides synchronization for smooth day-to-day procedure.

“After the advent of these All-in-one solutions, all I have to do is check the patient and all other Medical Billing details are directly sent to practice management software for further processing. This speeds-up the reaction and gives me an opportunity to focus more on the patient”, says a Texas based physician.

After launching of such All-in-one solution with incorporated medical billing Service, survival of the traditional software is at stake. Such products keep redefining the market norms, and in order to prosper in such cutthroat competition, EMR vendors need to think out of the box. As a matter of fact, customers have so many choices and they will surely go for the one that makes their lives easier and profitable, just like Medical Billing has done for the physicians.

“I have always stayed loyal to the brands I generally use. However, I recently shifted to a new vendor due to enhanced medical billing Service he was providing. To be honest, we need to see our convenience as well”, says a leading physician from Florida.
