Omilia and SpinSci Partner to Transform Patient Access with AI-Powered EHR Integration

What You Should Know:

– Omilia, a provider of Conversational AI (CAI), and SpinSci Technologies, a pioneer in cloud-based patient engagement announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming how patients access healthcare services and communicate with providers.

– The strategic collaboration launches one of the first unified solutions integrating enterprise-grade Conversational AI with deep, native Electronic Health Record (EHR) system connectivity, offering intelligent, human-like self-service 24/7 across phone, web, and mobile channels.

Addressing Healthcare Access Challenges

Healthcare organizations currently grapple with significant hurdles, including fragmented patient access points, overwhelming call volumes, and staff shortages that can lead to delays in care. This new joint solution from Omilia and SpinSci directly tackles these issues by reimagining the patient access experience.

The core of the partnership involves replacing outdated Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems with sophisticated, context-aware Virtual Assistants. These assistants are powered by Omilia’s leading Conversational AI and are fully integrated with major EHR systems through SpinSci’s robust integration capabilities. SpinSci supports deep native integration with platforms including Epic, Oracle Health, Athenahealth, MEDITECH, NextGen, Veradigm, and eClinicalWorks, allowing providers to leverage this technology without replacing their core infrastructure.

“Partnering with SpinSci marks a pivotal moment for healthcare access,” added Dimitris Vassos, CEO of Omilia. “By uniting our leading Conversational AI with SpinSci’s deep EHR integration expertise, we’re delivering an AI-first patient engagement platform that empowers healthcare organizations to automate interactions, reduce operational burdens, and deliver better patient experiences—without costly overhauls.”
