Iron Bow Technologies, Vivify Health Lands $258M VA Home Telehealth Contract

Iron Bow Technologies, a provider of technology solutions and services has partnered with remote patient monitoring platform provider Vivify Health to deliver scalable in-home telehealth services. As part of the partnership, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has awarded the company a $258M VA Home Telehealth contract to improve Veterans access to quality remote healthcare.

Iron Bow is one of the four companies awarded the contract which also include Care Innovations, LLC, Medtronic Care Management Services and 1Vision LLC. The 5 year VA Home telehealth contract will support the ongoing and emerging business needs of the Veterans Health Administration’s (VHA) national Home Telehealth Program (HT).

By leveraging Iron Bow’s expertise in telehealth with Vivify Health’s experience with hundreds of hospitals and providers across the U.S. serves as a synergistic best-in-class partnership to deliver remote healthcare to the VA under this contractual effort.

The importance of this contract is to deliver a constant level of care to the Veteran constituency through the use of medical devices and virtual visits directly from patient homes to raise the quality of care and standard of living for Veterans throughout the U.S. Utilizing home Telehealth solutions, VA clinicians will be able to continuously monitor and interact with patients, providing the opportunity to educate the Veteran population on various self-care options as well as lower risk of repeat hospitalization

“Over the past decade, Iron Bow has been one of the largest solution providers to the VA – supporting its needs on the National, Regional VISN and medical center levels. With Iron Bow as our partner, we have high confidence that we can mutually provide the VA with the best access to continuum care for our U.S. Veterans,” added Eric Rock, CEO and Founder of Vivify Health.

Vivify Health, launched in 2009, was the first organization to deliver integrated remote care and monitoring through consumer electronics, including smart phones and tablets. Since that time, Vivify has continued to scale the platform through many of the largest health systems in the U.S. With Vivify’s proven outcomes and platform scalability, the partnership with Iron Bow is perfectly positioned to assist the VA in efficiently delivering high quality care to our Veterans.
