Launchpad Digital Health Invests 5 New Digital Health Startups

Launchpad Digital Health

Launchpad Digital Health, a focused next generation accelerator has added six new startups to its 12-month accelerator program. Among the companies that closed the new seed capital funding are:  Amicomed, Aida Health, Stop Breathe & Think, Tueo Health. These companies have now begun its twelve-month in-house immersion program.

In addition, Launchpad Digital Health closed a follow-on round for LifeDojo, an advanced corporate wellness company ) with other leading investors. These investments include co-investments from Sodexo Ventures, Aspect Ventures and others. It is also noteworthy that half of these new seed investments are headed by female CEOs, bucking the trend in institutional-funded Silicon Valley companies.

Each company accepted into the immersion program receives:

1) more capital in the form of up to a $500,000 initial investment,

2) more time commitment in the form of a year-long program, co-location with other startups in the digital health sector and the Launchpad Digital Health team

3) more intensity in the form of daily and weekly engagement with Launchpad Digital Health’s founders, partners and advisors.

Here is a look at the latest new four Launchpad Digital Health startups :

Amicomed – Master your blood pressure with an innovative digital platform. Proven to effectively treat hypertension in Europe now debuting in the U.S. and backed by leading Cardiologists.  CEO – Giangiacomo Rocco di Torrepadula  

Aida Health – Secure collaboration for healthcare teams, featuring longitudinal care management; already deployed at leading healthcare institutions.  CEO – Michael Mok 

Stop Breathe & Think – Leading mobile platform for daily emotional wellbeing via meditation and many other activities, for adults and kids.  CEO – Julie Campistron 

Tueo Health – Taking control of pediatric asthma, its solution delivers accurate, objective indicators of asthma control as a service to support patients and families in achieving the best outcomes.  CEO – Bronwyn Harris
