Nordic, Microsoft, CHIME to Launch National Rural Health IT Community

What You Should Know:

– Nordic, a global health and technology consulting company, and CLEAR, the secure identity company, have announced a new partnership.

– The collaboration aims to enhance healthcare information security and simplify patient and provider access across the healthcare ecosystem. This alliance will bring CLEAR’s innovative, secure identity platform to Nordic’s extensive network of over 700 healthcare clients.

Modernizing Healthcare Security for a Better Experience

Many healthcare systems currently rely on manual identity and security verification processes. This often leads to increased administrative workloads, delays in patient care, and heightened cybersecurity risks. The new partnership between Nordic and CLEAR is designed to combat these challenges.

Nordic will leverage CLEAR’s reusable identity platform, CLEAR1, to provide a simpler and more secure user experience for both patients and providers. CLEAR1 is a trusted, NIST IAL2/AAL2-compliant identity layer that allows patients and providers to use a single, privacy-centric credential to access services throughout the care journey. This includes everything from creating a patient account to verifying insurance coverage and accessing claims data.
“Healthcare organizations are investing in modernizing their systems, seeking ways to be faster, more efficient, and simpler across their EHRs. Nordic is proud to offer end-to-end health IT support, and we’re thrilled to partner with CLEAR to bring their innovative technology to our clients,” said Steve Eckert, chief growth officer, Nordic. “Our goal is to serve as our clients’ one-stop-shop, so we can develop a holistic plan to solve their most pressing challenges and, ultimately, allow them to better serve their patients and communities.”
