What You Should Know:

– Mira, a hormonal health company, announced a significant partnership with global soccer star Ali Riley, who plays for Angel City FC and the New Zealand Women’s National Team.

– The collaboration is dedicated to supporting women as they navigate major life transitions—such as family planning, motherhood, perimenopause, menopause, and fertility treatments—by fostering open conversations around hormone health and expanding access to personalized, at-home care solutions.

Ali Riley’s Journey: Finding Agency Through Hormone Tracking During IVF

As Ali Riley navigates rehabilitation from a potentially career-ending injury, she is courageously sharing her personal experience with the emotional and physical challenges of in vitro fertilization (IVF). A key part of her journey has been using Mira’s at-home hormone tracking technology, which she credits with giving her a sense of agency during a period of profound uncertainty.

Riley began monitoring her hormone levels with Mira unsure if motherhood was a possibility for her. “So many parts of my life this year have felt up in the air, with a lot of uncertainty, but Mira gave me a routine. It gave me concrete information to rely on,” she shared. “Having this resource was powerful—the one thing I knew I wanted, when I wasn’t able to play soccer or spend time with my team, was to do something for my future. And that was to have the option of having a baby.”

When she decided to pursue IVF, Riley continued using Mira. “I felt like I had a roadmap in front of me,” she said. “When I saw that I was still in a late reproductive phase, I felt a sense of hope. And being able to track my levels at home during IVF gave me peace of mind between doctor’s appointments — I wasn’t left wondering what was happening inside my body.”
