Leading Government Affairs and Public Sector Strategy
In her new role, Bari will lead Innovaccer’s government affairs and communications functions. Her responsibilities will include working closely with partners in Washington D.C. and across key states and localities. Furthermore, she will support strategic initiatives aimed at expanding Innovaccer’s footprint within federal, state, and local government markets, leveraging her deep policy expertise to advance the company’s public sector strategy.
Bari Bio/Background
Lisa Bari brings a wealth of relevant experience to Innovaccer. Most recently, she served as the founding CEO of Civitas Networks for Health, a national organization dedicated to health information exchange (HIE) and fostering cross-sector collaboration for health improvement.
Prior to Civitas, Bari held a significant role at the CMS Innovation Center (CMMI), where she led interoperability policy initiatives. During her time at CMS, she supported the development and implementation of primary care models, contributed to the drafting of key federal regulations related to health data exchange, and launched the agency’s inaugural AI Health Outcomes Challenge.
