What You Should Know:

– Innovaccer Inc., the leading Healthcare AI company, today announced the launch of its “Agents of Careᵀᴹ”—a suite of pre-trained AI Agents designed to automate repetitive, low-value tasks and handle rising workloads due to staff shortage.

– Unveiled at the company’s annual customer conference, Xccelerate 2025, the launch aligns with Innovaccer’s vision to help organizations to advance health outcomes.

Innovaccer Expands AI Capabilities with ‘Agents of Careᵀᴹ’ to Streamline Healthcare Operations

Following its recent $275 million Series F funding round—with participation from B Capital Group, Banner Health, Danaher Ventures, Generation IM, Kaiser Permanente, and M12—Innovaccer is introducing AI Agents to reduce administrative burdens in healthcare. These AI-powered Agents, integrated with Innovaccer’s data infrastructure that connects with over 80 electronic health records (EHRs), will support a range of healthcare professionals, including clinicians, care managers, risk coders, patient navigators, and call center agents.

The Agents of Careᵀᴹ are designed to handle complex administrative tasks, operate continuously, and seamlessly integrate into existing healthcare workflows. Their core functionalities include:

  • Scheduling Agent – Automates patient appointment booking, rescheduling, and management.
  • Protocol Intake Agent – Facilitates patient intake by collecting information and coordinating follow-ups with care managers.
  • Referral Agent – Manages referral workflows to connect patients with the appropriate specialists.
  • Authorization Agent – Accelerates prior authorization by gathering necessary data and submitting accurate, complete requests.
  • Care Gap Closure Agent – Identifies care gaps and engages patients to enhance quality metrics.
  • HCC Coding Agent – Expedites coding review, ensuring clinical documentation accuracy.
  • Patient Access Agent – Provides 24/7 multilingual support for routine patient inquiries.

Powered by Innovaccer’s Data Activation Platform, these Agents leverage a comprehensive 360° view of patient data by integrating clinical and claims information. This unified approach enhances scheduling, follow-ups, and care coordination while minimizing errors and redundancies.

Security and compliance remain a priority, with Agents of Careᵀᴹ adhering to industry-leading standards, including NIST CSF, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2 Type II, and ISO 27001. This ensures a secure and reliable AI solution for healthcare organizations of all sizes.

Already serving six of the top 10 health systems in the U.S., Innovaccer is expanding its AI capabilities to payers, pharmacies, life sciences, and government organizations. By offering a unified, AI-driven approach to healthcare, the company aims to become the preferred partner for organizations seeking to scale their AI capabilities.

“Healthcare needs more than fragmented point solutions. It requires an intelligent, unified orchestration of AI,” said Abhinav Shashank, Co-founder and CEO of Innovaccer. “With Agents of Careᵀᴹ, AI is redefining efficiency in healthcare, allowing care teams to focus on what matters most—their patients.”
