Suki AI Integrates with MEDENT and Azalea Health EHRs

What You Should Know:

– Suki, a provider of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for healthcare, announced a strategic investment from Zoom Ventures, the investment arm of Zoom Communications, Inc.

– the investment builds upon Suki’s recent $70M Series D funding round and reinforces the company’s commitment to transforming healthcare through AI-powered solutions.

Suki’s AI-Driven Clinical Assistant

Suki’s AI-driven clinical assistant, Suki Assistant, is used by over 350 health systems and clinics nationwide to streamline clinical workflows and improve patient care. The platform offers a range of features, including:

  • Automated clinical documentation: Suki Assistant accurately captures patient encounters and generates comprehensive clinical notes, reducing administrative burden on clinicians.
  • Medical reference and Q&A: Provides clinicians with instant access to medical information and answers to clinical questions.
  • Patient data retrieval: Streamlines access to patient charts and relevant medical data.
  • Coding and billing support: Assists with coding and billing tasks, improving accuracy and efficiency.

This investment from Zoom Ventures follows Suki’s recent partnership with Zoom to integrate its AI-powered clinical notes into Zoom’s Workplace for Clinicians solution. This collaboration aims to enhance the user experience for clinicians and improve patient care through seamless integration of AI-driven documentation.

Expanding Leadership Team and AI Capabilities

Suki has also strengthened its leadership team with the addition of three new executives:

  • Demetra Airaudi, Senior Vice President of Marketing: Brings extensive experience in marketing and communications from leading technology companies.
  • Aden Fine, General Counsel: Provides expertise in navigating healthcare regulations and policy issues.
  • Jonathan Antonio, Vice President of Infrastructure: Ensures Suki’s platform remains secure, compliant, and scalable to support its rapid growth.

“In 2024, Suki experienced remarkable growth, expanding 4x in only 12 months. This next phase is driven by our latest investments and the expanding opportunities within our addressable market, with technology leaders like Zoom seeking new ways of collaborating with us. Our shared values and goals have enabled us to revolutionize the healthcare experience for clinicians and patients nationwide with AI,” said Punit Soni, CEO and Founder of Suki. “This new capital allows us to scale our technology, offering new capabilities to our customers, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to expand the strong team we’ve built over the last seven years. It’s truly a testament to the impact Suki Assistant and Suki Platform have on the health systems and technology companies we partner with.”
