What You Should Know:

– Red Rover Health, which enables healthcare providers to integrate “best of breed” third-party solutions into their electronic health record (EHR) systems, has received $4 million in seed funding from NewShore Partners.

– The latest funding gives Red Rover the capital to hire key talent to expand the core integration platform and scale operations.

Red Rover Health Revolutionizes EHR Integration with Innovative RESTful API Platform

Red Rover Health, Inc., based in Des Moines, Iowa, is a leading healthcare technology company focused on simplifying Electronic Health Record (EHR) integration. Its innovative platform, powered by secure RESTful APIs, facilitates seamless connectivity between third-party software applications and EHR systems. This enables healthcare organizations to enhance their existing EHR investments with world-class, best-of-breed software solutions.

The demand for robust EHR integration has grown significantly with the rise of “best-of-breed” third-party software applications. Clinicians increasingly require real-time access to patient care information, but traditional solutions like HL7 and FHIR often fail to meet bi-directional integration needs. Red Rover’s platform addresses this gap by providing secure and predictable access to EHR data, allowing healthcare organizations to maximize the value of their EHR systems.

CEO John Orosco emphasized the company’s readiness to scale, stating:

  • “We have an active working solution deployed in numerous production sites—this isn’t just an idea on paper.”
  • “We are leveraging current momentum with contractual commitments from vendor partners and forthcoming enterprise deals.”

The newly secured funding will enable Red Rover to scale operations, expand sales and marketing efforts, and recruit top industry talent, reinforcing its position as a transformative force in EHR integration.
