– Twentyeight Health, a digital-first women’s healthcare platform raises $10M in a Series A funding round led by Seae Ventures, with participation from Impact America Fund, The Social Entrepreneurs’ Fund, RH Capital, Impact Engine, Gratitude Railroad, and Townhall Ventures. 

– The latest round brings the company’s total funding to $25M and will fuel its mission to provide convenient, affordable, and stigma-free reproductive and sexual care to women across the United States.

Expanding Access to Underserved Communities

Since its launch in 2018, Twentyeight Health has focused on reaching underserved communities and providing accessible healthcare options. The platform boasts several key features:

  • Broad insurance coverage: Accepts almost every commercial and Medicaid plan, making its services accessible to a wide range of women, including those who rely on Medicaid. The company has established partnerships with leading Medicaid insurers like Aetna, AmeriHealth, and Molina.
  • Comprehensive services: Offers a wide array of reproductive and sexual health services, including access to various birth control options, emergency contraception, abortion pills, herpes treatments, pregnancy tests, and other essential products.
  • Wide reach: Covers 93% of American women across 43 states, including those with limited access to traditional healthcare services.

Recent Milestones

This announcement comes on the heels of a surge in user interest following the recent presidential election, with Twentyeight Health reporting a 52% jump in overall conversion, a 10% increase in website traffic, and a doubling in emergency contraception sales.
