Dr. Peter most recently served as the Chief Executive and Vice President, Chief Medical Officer at Cleveland Clinic Indian River, where he oversaw a large team of healthcare professionals. He is board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and has over 25 years of experience in Emergency Medicine. Throughout his career at Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Peter has held various leadership positions, demonstrating his commitment to improving patient care and healthcare delivery.

The Clinic’s virtual second opinion service provides patients with access to over 3,500 world-renowned specialists and sub-specialists from Cleveland Clinic. The offering addresses the growing demand for specialty care, particularly for conditions like heart disease, cancer, and neurological disorders, which have seen the highest demand for VSOs in recent years.
