What You Should Know:

– Lunit, a leading provider of AI-powered cancer diagnostics solutions, has announced a strategic alliance with VIDI Group, the largest private radiology and radiotherapy network in France.

– The partnership will expand the deployment of Lunit INSIGHT MMG, an AI solution for breast cancer screening, across VIDI’s extensive network of over 400 sites and 1,200 doctors.

Improving Breast Cancer Detection

Lunit INSIGHT MMG is designed to assist radiologists in detecting breast cancer earlier and more accurately. The AI solution analyzes mammography images, identifying potentially suspicious lesions and providing radiologists with critical information to aid in diagnosis.

Benefits of the Partnership

This collaboration between Lunit and VIDI offers several key benefits:

  • Enhanced Screening Efficiency: Lunit INSIGHT MMG helps streamline the breast cancer screening process, improving efficiency and potentially reducing the need for additional imaging or biopsies.
  • Improved Diagnostic Accuracy: The AI solution assists radiologists in identifying subtle abnormalities, potentially leading to earlier detection and better patient outcomes.
  • Increased Access to AI Technology: This partnership expands access to Lunit’s innovative AI technology across a significant portion of the French private radiology market.
  • Commitment to Innovation: VIDI’s adoption of Lunit INSIGHT MMG demonstrates its commitment to integrating cutting-edge technology to enhance patient care.

Through this partnership, Lunit aims to accelerate its presence in the French market and explore broader collaboration opportunities with VIDI in education, communication, and product development.

“With more than 60,000 new cases of breast cancer in mainland France in 2023, making it the leading cancer in women in both incidence and mortality, the need for AI to support early detection and diagnosis has never been greater,” said Brandon Suh, CEO of Lunit. “By combining VIDI’s extensive network and commitment to medical excellence, we are confident that Lunit INSIGHT MMG will become an indispensable ally in the fight against breast cancer, enabling radiologists to see what would otherwise be missed and, ultimately, to save more lives.”
