What You Should Know:

–  Rula Health, a behavioral health company focused on improving access to mental healthcare, today announced a collaboration with Amazon Health Services to provide more ways for Amazon customers to find and receive essential mental healthcare.

–  With a network of over 10,000 providers representing more than 80 clinical specialties and a diverse range of backgrounds, Rula Health is the latest behavioral health provider to join Amazon’s Health Condition Programs.

Expanding Access to Affordable Behavioral Health Care Through Rula’s Comprehensive Network

Rula is redefining behavioral healthcare by providing high-quality, affordable mental health services across the U.S. With a network of over 10,000 diverse providers, Rula offers therapy for individuals, couples, and families in all 50 states, plus D.C., and provides psychiatric services in 31 states. Key benefits of Rula’s services include:

– Wide Insurance Acceptance: Rula collaborates with major insurance networks, including Aetna/CVS, Anthem/Elevance, Cigna/Evernorth, Kaiser, United Healthcare/Optum, and numerous Blue Cross and Blue Shield plans, covering over 120 million insured individuals and ensuring affordable care with a typical copay of $15 per session.

– Easy Provider Matching: With an intuitive search platform, patients can visit rula.com to select a provider that aligns with their specific needs and preferences, often securing appointments as soon as the next day.

Recognizing the mental health needs of the U.S. population, where 60 million people live with a mental health condition and only half receive care, Rula’s partnerships make it easier for insured individuals to access specialized care covered by their plans. Rula has already facilitated millions of therapy hours since 2019 and continues to grow accessibility through collaborations like its recent partnership with Amazon.

Enhancing Accessibility Through Rula’s Amazon Partnership

In collaboration with Amazon, Rula is streamlining discoverability and accessibility for mental health support, providing users with convenient and effective provider matching. Amazon customers can find mental health providers on Rula’s platform by searching keywords like “anxiety relief” or “stress relief” on Amazon.com. Before connecting users to Rula, Amazon verifies their insurance coverage, after which Rula matches them to a provider who meets their criteria, accepts their insurance, and offers appointments as early as the next day.

Rula’s network reflects its commitment to inclusivity and specialized care, comprising providers who offer services in 39 languages, with 47% identifying as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color. Providers cover a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, and OCD, with expertise in over 80 clinical specialties, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and interpersonal psychotherapy.

Through these efforts, Rula is setting a new standard in behavioral healthcare access, ensuring that high-quality, culturally competent care is accessible, affordable, and easy to find for millions across the country.

“A recent study from Milliman found that more than 70% of individuals seeking mental health support give up before ever getting the help they need. Through this collaboration, we will make it simple for millions of individuals to access high-quality, affordable, and highly personalized mental healthcare services when they need it,” said Josh Bruno, CEO of Rula Health. “Rula is proud to join Amazon’s Health Condition Programs, to improve awareness of our network of over 10,000 mental healthcare providers, further delivering on our mission to make mental healthcare work for everyone.”
