What You Should Know:

– Volpara Health, a global leader in cancer detection software, has been awarded a significant contract with the U.S. Defense Health Agency (DHA) valued at $7.3M over five years.

– The contract will deploy Volpara’s Patient Hub™ across the DHA’s military health system, modernizing breast cancer screening and patient management for active-duty military personnel, retirees, and their families.

Enhancing Breast Health Management for Military Personnel

Volpara’s Patient Hub™ is an advanced platform that integrates key aspects of breast health management, including:

  • Scheduling and Data Collection: Streamlines appointment scheduling and facilitates efficient data collection.
  • Risk Assessment: Assesses individual breast cancer risk factors to personalize screening and prevention strategies.
  • Mammogram Tracking: Tracks mammogram results and follow-up recommendations, ensuring timely care.

These features empower healthcare providers to deliver personalized and timely care through automated follow-ups, reminders, and patient communications. Patient Hub™ also reduces administrative burdens, streamlines workflows, and facilitates adherence to breast health guidelines, all of which are vital for improving early detection and breast cancer outcomes.

“Working with the Defense Health Agency is a tremendous opportunity to improve healthcare for those who serve our nation,” said Teri Thomas, CEO of Volpara and CBO of Lunit. “Achieving certification to meet the Department of Defense’s rigorous security standards demonstrates our commitment to patient care and data security. We look forward to providing state-of-the-art solutions that make a difference in breast health outcomes.”
