Amy Schumer, Connie Britton, Brandi Chastain, Meena Harris, Sheryl Sandberg, Tekedra Mawakana and Tory Burch among the bold name investors committed to Midi’s goal of closing the women’s healthcare gap.

What You Should Know:

– Midi Health, the rapidly growing virtual care clinic catering to women 35 and older, today announced a groundbreaking addition to its Series B funding round.

– An impressive cohort of women leaders and icons spanning diverse fields have joined the oversubscribed round via a $5M Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). This SPV, formed and managed by Midi investor Operator Collective, brings together influential women from entertainment, sports, media, technology, and more, who recognize the massive unmet needs in the $600B women’s health market.

High-Profile Investors and Their Shared Vision

The new investors include prominent figures like Amy Schumer, Connie Britton, Meena Harris, Brandi Chastain, Tory Burch, Kara Nortman, Sheryl Sandberg, Tekedra Mawakana, Jennifer Tejada, Claire Hughes Johnson, and Elena Gomez. Top executives from leading companies such as OpenAI, Atlassian, Databricks, Cloudflare, and more also participated. This diverse group of 80 investors, with individual investments ranging from $10K to $500K+, reflects Midi’s commitment to addressing the unique needs of women in midlife and the importance of culturally responsive care.

“Just like you, I have noticed a clear gap in companies that prioritize the needs of women and address the challenges they face when seeking healthcare. Midi is breaking new ground for women 35+ as their healthcare needs evolve,” said Amy Schumer. “The SPV investment opportunity was a unique way for leaders across different industries to come together to ensure women’s health remains at the forefront of innovation, rather than as an afterthought as it has for so long. It’s important to invest in companies that impact us personally and be a force for change for women everywhere.”

Addressing Unmet Needs in Women’s Health

The investors understand the critical gaps in women’s healthcare, particularly for those in midlife. With a vast majority of women experiencing symptoms that negatively impact their quality of life and longevity, and limited access to specialized care, Midi is stepping up to provide much-needed support.
