– Canvas Medical, a EMR company, has announced the appointment of Adam Farren as Chief Executive Officer. Farren has been serving as President and Chief Operating Officer since April 2023.
– With Farren assuming the CEO role, Andrew Hines, the founder of Canvas, will transition to the position of Chief Technology Officer. Hines will focus on spearheading the application of artificial intelligence (AI) across Canvas’ products, starting with Backplane™, a tool designed to accelerate the implementation of protocols, pathways, and agents. Backplane is now available for beta testing.
– Adam Farren brings nearly two decades of experience building and leading venture-scale companies. Prior to joining Canvas, he served as Chief Growth Officer at Elation Health and Osmind, where he successfully led the expansion of these EMR companies into national markets and introduced new revenue lines.
