What You Should Know:

–  Elation Health, the clinical-first technology company powering innovation in primary care, today announced the release of its ambient note generation product called Note Assist, an embedded artificial intelligence (AI) solution for its Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform, designed for the complex patient visit requirements of primary care.

–  With Elation’s Note Assist, the details of the physician-patient visit are ambiently transcribed and intelligently incorporated into a structured note.

Elation Health: Streamlining Primary Care with AI-Driven Documentation

Elation Health, the technology platform for primary care success, supports 32,000 clinicians who care for over 16 million Americans. Designed to deliver high-value, personalized care, Elation Health’s EHR and billing solutions integrate seamlessly with physicians’ existing note templates. This system considers both existing note context and patient details, crafting high-quality, precise documentation in near real-time. As details from the visit conversation continuously populate the template and other discrete sections of the note, clinicians experience a significant reduction in documentation effort, allowing them to quickly assess visit completeness and confirm final details with patients.

Customers testing the Note Assist feature report substantial benefits, such as time savings and enhanced patient interactions. For instance, Dr. Dian Ginsberg from Texas uses Elation’s Note Assist across various visit types, allowing her to concentrate fully on patient interactions. The solution enables her to efficiently finalize comprehensive notes, often in five minutes or less. A survey of users revealed that clinicians save an average of 13 minutes per visit using Note Assist. Additionally, 75% of clinicians reported experiencing more joy in their work, while 87% noted that they provided better patient care and experienced less burnout when using Elation’s scribing and note generation solution.

Elation’s Note Assist shifts the burden of note-taking from clinicians to the EHR, enabling them to focus more on patient interactions. The system integrates deeply with Elation’s EHR tools and patient data, ensuring minimal workflow disruption while maintaining continuous access to essential information. Elation’s AI technology is designed to function as a supportive team member, proactively adapting to changing needs and crafting high-quality, comprehensive visit documentation with less cognitive burden.

The current version of Elation’s Note Assist, the first in a series of AI-driven features, offers:

– Seamless operation as the only EHR-native intelligent scribing and note generation solution, ensuring continuous access to EHR tools without third-party disruptions;

– Secure capturing and translating of clinical visit conversations in English or Spanish, enhancing patient connections;

– Fast note generation throughout the visit, minimizing delays at the end;

– Comprehensive visit documentation with customizable formatting, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness;

– Intelligent population of clinical details into structured fields, reducing duplication and enhancing note quality;

– A modern, intuitive design with ambient capabilities, allowing clinicians to focus more on patient care.

Elation Health’s Note Assist transforms clinical documentation, offering a streamlined, efficient, and patient-centered experience.
