– Elsevier Health, a global leader in medical information and data analytics,  announced the  launch of ClinicalKey AI, the first and most advanced clinical decision support tool in the US to leverage generative artificial intelligence (AI).

– Elsevier Health partnered with OpenEvidence, a leader in AI for medicine,  on developing ClinicalKey AI. Additionally, Cone Health and the University of New Mexico provided valuable insights during the development process.

ClinicalKey AI empowers clinicians at the point of care by combining trusted medical content with the power of AI. Key features of ClinicalKey AI include:

– Natural Language Search: Clinicians can utilize natural language queries to find relevant information.

– Comprehensive and Trusted Sources: Delivers information from Elsevier’s extensive peer-reviewed content library and other validated sources.

– Summarized Responses with References: Generates concise and evidence-based summaries with citations.

– Patient-Specific Context: Factors in patient comorbidities and medications when responding to queries.

– Personalized Experience: Tailors responses based on the clinician’s profile and past searches.

Future Availability

Following a successful early access launch in November 2023, ClinicalKey AI is now widely available across the US.  Future international launches are planned.
