What You Should Know:

– Hackensack Meridian Health, New Jersey’s largest health network, and One Medical, a prominent national virtual and in-office primary care organization, are joining forces to provide a new primary care option in New Jersey.

– The partnership will provide more primary care providers in New Jersey and will ensure that residents and employers have seamless coordinated care.

Addressing Primary Care Gaps

With one in four U.S. adults and half of those under 30 lacking a primary care doctor, the collaboration aims to address this gap by offering more primary care providers in New Jersey. The partnership leverages One Medical’s innovative care model and Hackensack Meridian Health’s integrated network.

Virtual Primary Care Services

One Medical members can access virtual care services at over 20 major U.S. regions through the mobile app, including on-demand video visits, secure provider messaging, digital assessments, appointment booking, medical record access, prescription renewals, and proactive reminders. Consumer memberships are priced at $199 per year. Employers can cover membership fees as a workforce benefit. Amazon Prime members can add One Medical memberships as a Prime benefit at $9 per month ($99 annually) and extend it to family members for $6 per month ($66 annually) each.

Future Expansion

Hackensack Meridian and One Medical are planning to open multiple locations over the next several years. Locations are still being determined and the first office is expected to open by the end of 2024.
