– OODA Health announces that its Board of Directors has promoted co-founder and President Seth Cohen to CEO
– Former CEO and OODA Health Co-Founder Giovanni Colella, M.D., will now serve as Executive Chairman and support Cohen and the Board when it comes to the overall strategy and serving OODA Health’s ecosystem of partners and customers.
OODA Health, a healthcare technology company focused on empowering patients, providers, and payers with real-time healthcare interactions, today announced that its Board of Directors has promoted Seth Cohen to Chief Executive Officer. Cohen, OODA Health Co-Founder, has been President of the company since its inception in January 2018 and is also a member of its Board of Directors. Former CEO and OODA Co-Founder Giovanni Colella, M.D., now assumes the role of Executive Chairman. He will focus his time on supporting Cohen and the Board on overall company strategy and, together with Cohen, will continue to work closely with OODA’s extensive ecosystem of partners and customers.
In his role as OODA Health’s President, Cohen has led all the core functions including product, engineering, and commercial go-to-market. Previously, Cohen served as the Vice President of Sales and Alliances for Castlight Health, where he led the team responsible for market partnerships and key national accounts. He was one of the earliest employees at Castlight, helping to drive rapid growth and a successful IPO. He is currently a member of Castlight’s Board of Directors
Seth Cohen Bio/Background
Prior to OODA Health, Seth served as the Vice President of Sales and Alliances for Castlight Health. At Castlight, Seth led the team responsible for market partnerships and key national accounts. Seth was one of the earliest employees at Castlight and served on the leadership team. Seth is currently a member of Castlight’s board of directors. Prior to Castlight, Seth was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. At McKinsey, Seth was a member of the Healthcare Payer and Provider Practice and a founding member of McKinsey’s Center for Healthcare Reform.
Seth earned an MBA from Harvard Business School as a Baker Scholar and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School. Seth completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University as a Phi Beta Kappa.
