Risalto Health Lands $1.5M for Musculoskeletal Care Concierge Service

Risalto Health, a digital health startup delivering concierge service for musculoskeletal care  with cutting-edge care pathways for patients, has raised $1.5M in seed stage capital from Health Catalyst Capital Management (HCCM). The seed round also included participation from Oxeon Partners. Risalto plans to use the funding to expands its care concierge program to enable superior outcomes and cost savings for patients experiencing back, neck, knee, and hip pain.

 

Musculoskeletal ailments affect millions of Americans and cause billions in unnecessary spend from employers and health plans. Founded in 2016 with Oxeon’s Venture Studio, Risalto’s care concierge program combines expert algorithm with white glove service and tools for patients entering their musculoskeletal care journey.

“Musculoskeletal care creates a huge burden for patients, payers, and employers alike,” said Daniel Pizzarello, MD, Founder and CEO of Risalto. “Partnering with Health Catalyst Capital will help us move faster in our mission of getting every patient the evidence-based care they deserve. Risalto will do more than just save money — we will help patients heal, resume active lives, and minimize exposure to dangerous pain medication.”
