Harvard Health Taps Outcome Health to Bring Actionable Health Intelligence To Over 40k Waiting & Exam Rooms

Today, Outcome Health announced an exciting collaboration with Harvard Health Publications that will bring Harvard Medical School’s trusted expertise to 40,000+ waiting and exam rooms through Outcome’s digital platform with new videos, illustrations, and additional health content. Outcome Health platform improves patient outcomes by providing actionable health intelligence and information at the moment of care through technology.

As part of the partnership, the teams will begin collaborating immediately to produce valuable insights for patients, caregivers and physicians. With HHP providing expert faculty healthcare content review and advisory support to Outcome Health, their teams will work to create meaningful content that spans videos, illustrations, and additional health information. Later this year, HHP and Outcome Health will also co-conduct focus groups on consumer attitudes and experiences with clinical trials.

Outcome Health’s platform features technologies such as the Exam Room Tablet, which can onboard patients to lifestyle management programs, as well as deliver interactive resources and health assessments to patients pre-consultation. It also includes the Digital Wallboard, which offers access to 3D anatomical renderings for use during medical consultations that can be used by physicians to mark, annotate and better explain condition states and treatments.

“We are excited about this relationship with Outcome Health, which aligns directly with HHP’s mission of improving the health of the nation,” said Gregory Curfman, MD, Editor-In-Chief of Harvard Health Publications in a statement. “We will now be able to create a greater positive impact by sharing Harvard Medical School’s faculty expertise with a broader audience through an engaging and informative experience at the time it matters most: the moments of care.”
