Definitive Healthcare announced this week it has acquired Billian’s HealthDATA, a provider of data and analytics on U.S. healthcare organizations. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The strategic acquisition will build on Definitive’s existing data on healthcare providers and facilities to provide data to over 1,500 clients ranging from the leading integrated delivery networks, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies to growing technology, medical device and staffing firms.
Billian’s HealthDATA provides data intelligence on hospitals and other healthcare facilities, physician groups, accountable care organizations (ACOs), and group purchasing organizations (GPOs). Included in the data analytics are well over a million key decision makers and a million physician contacts.
As part of the acquisition, Billian’s data will be integrated into Definitive’s robust platform, providing customers from both companies with a best of breed solution and the most integrated healthcare facility data available on any platform.
