SyTrue, Inc., a healthcare data-refinement company, that specializes in natural language processing (NLP) solutions to translate unstructured clinical data into actionable clinical information, announced today, a partnership with PainCareOS™ to assist pain specialists with incoming complex referral documents. This processing promises to reduce costs and overhead, improve clinical understanding, and enhance throughput. Re-use of such captured data can help empower downstream functions such as computerized physician order entry (CPOE) and case management.

Partnership Details

Under tems of the partnership, PainCareOS™ is leveraging a component of SyTrue’s proprietary NLP smart data platform  to tackle the incoming feeds of referral documents designed to improve the work quality of life of any user. Once these reports are encoded, we are already exploring the very real opportunity to drive clinical actions using the clinical decision support aspects of our platform. We will soon reveal computer-assisted coding driven from diverse referral documents – to enhance pain clinic personnel understanding in a far shorter time frame. Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) and other case management automations can be driven by data extracted from the narrative reports. It is from these take-off points that partnership discussions are warming up for us. The follow-on service and product companies are wondering how the opportunity to be involved at an earlier stage could evolve from this.

“We are pleased to be able to incorporate SyTrue technology into PainCareOS™ in an attempt to revolutionize data management in one of the most expensive and devastating chronic conditions of healthcare” says SyTrue CEO, Kyle Silvestro. “Dr. Patel and his team are truly dedicated to the pursuit of global pain care and digital health — it was these key reasons I asked him to join SyTrue as Chief Medical Officer two years ago!” adds Silvestro.
