Epic along with Lockheed subsidiary Systems Made Simple has been awarded a $624 million contract to enhance and simplify the viewing and making of appointments convenient to Veterans. The new solution called Medical Appointment Scheduling System, or MASS will allow clinicians to better utilize rooms, support staff, and equipment in service of Veterans’ needs, according to the award posted on the FebBizOps.gov website.
Epic is expected to supply the software to the VA, the company confirmed.
