TytoCare Ltd., an emerging Israel-based telehealth company has closed $11 million in Series B funding led by Cambia Health Solutions. Other participants in the round include OrbiMed Advisors, Walgreens, Fosum Pharma and LionBird.
Founded in 2012, Tyto Care’s advanced cloud telehealth platform and handheld device allows for accurate remote diagnosis of various types of ailments. Equipped with innovative guidance and navigation technology, the device will allow individuals to perform full physical examinations anytime, anywhere, without the need to visit a physician. Its accompanying cloud platform will enable patients, physicians and healthcare organizations to seamlessly and securely share the data the TytoCare device collects.
The TytoCare device allows patients to perform a variety of examinations as part of a telehealth visit, all from the comfort of their own home. TytoCare’s accompanying advanced cloud platform provides secured communication, data repository, analytics and data sharing between patients, clinicians and healthcare organizations.
