DaVita Selects Cureatr For Enteprise-wide Mobile Care Coordination

Cureatr, a leading mobile care coordination solution for health care, today announced that it has been selected by DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc., a leading provider of kidney care and integrated health care services, as its mobile care coordination technology partner for Secure Messaging and Care Transition Notifications.

The enterprise-wide agreement is a natural next step in the evolution of the partnership between the two companies, extending Cureatr across all of the business units within DaVita HealthCare Partners. Cureatr has been pre-released in key markets for DaVita HealthCare Partners to great success and adoption. Now, Cureatr will be deployed to tens of thousands of DaVita HealthCare Partners clinicians, employees and affiliated physicians, enabling real-time dynamic patient care coordination.

With this announcement, DaVita HealthCare Partners will be the largest Cureatr customer to implement Cureatr’s Care Transition Notifications. Cureatr is able to aggregate a steady digital stream of patient care transition events, such as missed treatments or emergency room visits, in key regions for DaVita HealthCare Partners. Users can then trigger a real-time push notification to the care-manager via Cureatr’s mobile or desktop applications.

“Our vision has always been to provide mobile care coordination with Secure Messaging and Workflows paired with a national Care Transition Notification™ network. Building such a network for DaVita HealthCare Partners is incredibly complex and an essential element in providing responsible and active patient care,” said Joseph Mayer, M.D., chief executive officer and founder of Cureatr. “DaVita HealthCare Partners is a fantastic flagship partner in delivering on the promise of improved care coordination. Through the expansion of this relationship, we will extend a national network for DaVita HealthCare Partners of Care Transition Notifications™ that will help change the way its chronically ill patients are treated and cared for. We are proud that our technology will be woven into their operations.”

In addition to Secure Messaging, DaVita HealthCare Partners is the first to deploy Cureatr’s dynamic collaborative workflow engine. Users can now collaborate in real time on patient status and milestones in their care streams. DaVita HealthCare Partners centers and physician groups can now track and deliver improved efficiencies in the coordination of a large population of shared patients.
