image1MDOps, a provider of dictation-based mobile apps for instant clinical documentation has joined the Allscripts Developer Program, a network of innovations featuring certified applications and devices for users of Allscripts Sunrise Acute Care. MDOps’ certified application, MDLog enables intuitive access to Allscripts Sunrise Acute Care from the convenience of an iPhone or iPad, simplifying the clinical documentation and workflow for physicians and other medical staff.

Becoming an ADP-certified application marks a collaboration between MDOps and Allscripts to provide innovative, integrated health IT solutions that support high quality and cost-effective care.

MDLog Key Benefits/Features

MDLog delivers measurable value for healthcare systems while increasing the productivity of its medical staff. Key outcomes include:

– Less Time Documenting and More Time for Patients

Physicians can quickly locate Sunrise patient records and dictate instant clinical notes using just an iPhone. Physicians can quickly document well over 20 notes in a day with MDLog compared to 10 or less that they were typing in.

– Simplified Workflow for Medical Staff to enable Better Patient Care

Patient’s key clinical data including medical history, current conditions, active problems and active treatment plans has been woven into MDLog’s voice controlled workflow. The workflow has been refined for the past three years to eliminate the overburden of excessive data allowing medical staff to deliver care with more focus and less effort.

– Lowering Healthcare Systems’ Costs

Using natural language processing technology MDLog transcribes medical staff’s dictation instantly into clinical notes and posts them automatically into Sunrise patient records. Hospitals save thousands of dollars monthly in transcription service costs while ensuring up-to-date patient notes at all times for faster payments.

– Simplified Integration for a Quick Setup

MDLog’s connection with Allscripts Sunrise Acute Care can be quickly and easily established through an iPhone or iPad without the complicated backend systems or IT support.

Allscripts Integration

By integrating with Allscripts Sunrise Acute Care, MDLog gives physicians the power to use their voice to review, record and update patient records — all without clicking through multiple menus or typing on tiny on-screen keyboards. Transcription is instantaneous, saving hospitals time and money. Additionally, updates to records in Sunrise are automatic, which give the physician more time to be mobile, productive and focused on delivering better patient care.

“MDOps is proud to be one of the newest certified applications in the Allscripts Developer Program. We are excited to now offer MDLog for Allscripts Sunrise Acute Care to physicians and healthcare systems that are seeking more efficient ways to simplify their clinical workflow,” said Avinash Kodey, Co-Founder and CEO, MDOps. “Our goal is to give physicians a powerful, voice-controlled clinical interface to streamline their daily workflow so that they can remain mobile and focused on providing quality healthcare.”

More information about MDLog can be found on the Allscripts Application Store.
