The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) has launched the new ATA Learning Center that boasts a comprehensive library of telemedicine, telehealth and mHealth sessions, courses and tutorials that users may access anytime, anywhere.

The ATA Learning Center contains over 150 free and low-cost educational telemedicine products including on-demand webinars, how-to videos, and courses. Telemedicine professionals will be select from telemedicine topics such as business and finance, mHealth, public policy, legal and regulatory issues, remote monitoring and from every specialty from teledermatology to teleICU.

“Telemedicine professionals already look to the ATA annual meeting as the go-to resource for healthcare technology education,“ said Jonathan Linkous, chief executive officer of ATA. “Now, both members and non-members can access telemedicine learning resources on-demand, and can expect the same depth and quality they already receive at the ATA annual meeting in addition to new content.”

The ATA Learning Center will be routinely updated with webinars and how-to’s led by the industry thought leaders in healthcare technology. A key benefit for professionals will be the ability to receive continuing education credits for certain courses. ATA clinical standards and guidelines, developed along with industry, government agencies, medical societies and other stakeholders, will also be available on the Learning Center.
