Practice Fusion announces billing software partnership with ADP AdvancedMD, CollaborateMD and NueMD as the first to build on new billing API providing a streamlined user experience.

Practice Fusion, the country’s largest doctor-patient community, today announced partnerships with three of the largest, most innovative web-based billing solutions in the nation. The partnership allows more than 100,000 monthly active users on the electronic medical record (EMR) platform the ability to select billing software that best fits their needs. Much like Practice Fusion, these preferred partners are web-based and cost-effective, enabling practices of any size or specialty to find a billing solution that is right for them.

ADP AdvancedMD, CollaborateMD and NueMD have signed on to be the first to use Practice Fusion’s billing API to develop fully integrated solutions for medical professionals on the EMR.  By late summer, practices and providers will have the ability to seamlessly sync their billing to get paid faster using the newest partners’ solutions for a streamlined user experience for all medical practices.

“Practice Fusion’s open platform is rapidly creating greater efficiency in healthcare and expanding choice for our providers. Our lab API has streamlined electronic results delivery, allowed us to connect to 230 lab partners in only 18 months, and we are now taking the same approach with billing. “We will be working closely with our preferred partners to deliver a user-friendly, highly integrated experience for all of our providers, and we will open the billing API to other partners in coming months,” said Dan O’Neill, senior director of business development at Practice Fusion.
Beta testing on the system integration begins this month with an antipated rollout later this summer. A longtime client of NueMD,  Kim Cannon, owner of Cannon Managerial Office Consulting Co. (CMOCC) has signed up as a beta participant and anticipates saving at least five hours each day.
