This week health & wellness academy, StartUp Health released their “April 2013 Digital Health Funding Insights Report” reporting 67 digital health deals in April totaling $332.72M in total funding.
The report shows significant growth in digital health funding compared to the 14 deals for a total of $64.04M that was raised in April 2012.
The report prepared by Brian T. Edwards (Health Insights & Research Fellow), Ron Golan (Healthcare Transformer Fellow), and Tanner Yager (Insights Fellow) states that a total of $918.71M in digital health funding was raised from 50 known investors in the first four months of 2013.
