AMGA today announced the appointment of Ryan O’Connor, M.B.A., CAE, to the position of Chief Operating Officer effective immediately. Mr. O’Connor previously served as AMGA’s interim president and CEO (June – October 2017), and vice president of membership and marketing.
As AMGA’s vice president of membership and marketing, Mr. O’Connor was responsible for the strategic direction and management of membership development, recruitment, and retention, as well as the marketing and educational programs for the organization. In this role, he had oversight of the association’s significant drivers of revenue. Mr. O’Connor holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics from George Mason University.
